FAQ

What aspect ratio are the final videos?

That's up to you. You choose from landscape (16:9 widescreen), square (1:1), or portrait (9:16 for phones), or get multiple formats for an extra fee.

Where do we record?

All our recording is done online in a virtual recording studio. For best quality, record in a quite room with plenty of soft furnishings (curtains, couches, etc)

Do I need special equipment?

It's up to you how good you want your end to look. We do recommend using a high quality microphone, which you can buy or rent. For your video, it's best to use a good phone camera but as long as it's 1080p minimum quality, that's fine.

Try to light your face from the front (like with a ring light) if you can. If you look terrible, our interviewer will let you know in the pre-briefing and offer some tips to help.

Do you do any post-processing?

We do some improvement on the audio and video, but we don't do any retouching or VFX.

How do I use the videos?

That's your call. They are designed to be enduring so will do best on a website, pinned to a social profile, or as part of a communications pack.

But they're yours so post on LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, or put on a loop in an art gallery – do as you wish!
